In order to help you choose the best travel kettle for your needs, we have tested and reviewed some of what we think are the best dual voltage kettles on the market right now. Please take a look below to see what we thought of the kettles that we tested out.

1. Aicok Mini Electric Kettle – The Best Choice

Features: 220-240v - 650w – 0.5L Capacity – 2 Cups – Removable Filter – Fast Boil - 20.2 x 19 x 14.4 cm – 0.52kg

Pros:

  • Nice and compact so perfect for traveling.
  • The cups can be stored inside the kettle.
  • The removable filter helps to clean the kettle.
  • It is very lightweight.

Cons:

  • It would be better if it could be used in a car.

The Review

Number one on our list is this dual voltage kettle from Aicok. We hadn’t heard much about this brand before, so we weren’t sure how it would match up in our tests but we were very impressed indeed. First of all, we’d like to take a look at the design.

We have to say that the design of this kettle is what really impressed us. First of all, it is very compact and lightweight. We had no trouble storing it in our suitcase; it didn’t take up much room at all. The fact that it is so lightweight meant that we were able to store it without worrying about luggage weight limits.

Another thing that we really liked about the design of this kettle is that it has 2 free cups with it. These cups are able to be stacked and stored inside the kettle itself which is a really nice feature because again, it saves a lot of space.

In terms of using the kettle, we had no trouble at all. It doesn’t take very long to boil and there is also a fast boil option if you are really in a rush. One final thing that we really liked was the removable filter which was great and really helped us to keep the kettle as clean as possible.

2. Swan SK27010N Dual Voltage Travel Kettle

Features: 110-240v – 1000w – 0.4L Capacity – 2 Cups – Water Level Window - 10.1 x 15.8 x 17.1 cm 522g

Pros:

  • Nice modern, compact design.
  • Water level window allows you to see exactly how much water is in the kettle.
  • Overheating and dry boil protection.
  • Comes with 2 cups that can be stored in the kettle.

Cons:

  • The lid is a little awkward to put back in.

The Review

Next on our list of the best dual voltage kettles is this one from Swan. We have used some of their products before and always felt fairly pleased with them, so we were expecting to be impressed by this one and we were not disappointed.

In terms of design, this dual voltage kettle is fairly basic. It has a nice purple and white design but it is quite basic. One of the things that we did like about it is the water level window. We found this really helpful because we were able to clearly see when the kettle needed refilling.

As with the previous kettle, this one is nice and compact as well as lightweight so it is perfect for traveling with. One extra feature that we really liked with this travel kettle is that it has built in overheating and dry boil protection which makes it last much longer.

Like the previous kettle, this one comes with two cups which can be stored inside of the kettle for extra space saving. The only thing we didn’t like with this one is the lid. We found that it was quite awkward to get it back on as it is not hinged. Other than that we were really impressed.

3. NETTA Dual Voltage Travel Kettle

Features: 120-240v – 1000w – 0.5L Capacity – 2 Cups – Boil Dry Protection - 20.5 x 17.5 x 17.5 cm – 721g

Pros:

  • This kettle has a nice 500ml capacity.
  • It has boil dry protection which protects the kettle.
  • It is plenty lightweight enough.

Cons:

  • The lead is quite short.

The Review

Last on our list of the best dual voltage travel kettles is this one from Netta. Again, this isn’t a brand that we had heard of before so we weren’t sure whether or not we would be impressed with it but we were actually really pleased. This is a great option for those looking for something affordable.

In terms of design, this one is really nice and compact. What we did like is that it has a 500ml capacity which is plenty enough for two cups if you use the travel cups that are provided with the kettle. Another thing that we really liked is how lightweight this kettle is.

We found it very easy to store it in our luggage with no extra weight to worry about. Something that we did like about this one is that it has boil dry protection which protects the kettle from damage if you accidentally turn it on without it having water in it.

The only thing that we didn’t really like with this kettle is the lead. We found that it was quite short which might be a problem for some. Other than that, we would definitely recommend this one.

We hope that after reading our reviews you are now able to make a decision on the right dual voltage travel kettle for you. Any of the above would be a great option no matter where in the world you are going to be traveling.
